Three busy days in Brussels for the eFTI Community: at this years’ Connecting Europe Days 2026, the eFTI4ALL project shared booth with eFTI4EU and eFTI4LIVE with presentations, demonstrations and exchanges with stakeholders and participants from all over the European transport sector.

The event provided an ideal setting to connect the different pieces of the eFTI landscape: public authorities preparing their national systems, technology providers developing platforms and services, transport stakeholders looking ahead to the new regulatory environment, and the EU-funded projects supporting this transition. The joint participation was also highlighted eFTI4EU coordinator Eva Killar (Estonian Ministry of Climate), who presented the evolution of eFTI implementation to date in her speech at the Marketplace. The purpose of the presentation was to illustrate the achievements delivered by the projects and the steps still required ahead of 9 July 2027, stressing the continuity between eFTI4EU, eFTI4ALL and eFTI4LIVE, and showing how the different projects contribute to a common implementation pathway.

For eFTI4ALL, a particular highlight was the session dedicated to the platform provider perspective. Representatives from ABONA and NeoGLS presented their work as eFTI platform developers, offering visitors a closer look at how platforms are being prepared to support compliant, secure and interoperable exchanges of freight transport information. Their presentations helped translate regulatory and technical requirements into practical implementation questions: how economic operators will interact with eFTI solutions, how platforms connect with the wider ecosystem and what is needed to ensure that services can work seamlessly across borders.

The booth remained active throughout the event, welcoming partners, authorities, operators and technology stakeholders for informal discussions and networking. These exchanges offered valuable feedback from different parts of the eFTI community and created new opportunities for collaboration. And implementation does not have to be discussed only through technical presentations: our eFTI Quiz invited visitors to challenge themselves on the Regulation and its ecosystem, proving a popular way to engage both newcomers and experts.

A special thanks to all the participants, partners and contributors who made the participation of eFTI4ALL to the event a great success!
