On February 11 and March 11, 2025, eFTI4ALL partners GBK and Abona actively participated in two workshops hosted by the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport (BMDV) in Berlin. These sessions gathered companies and future eFTI service providers to explore the challenges and opportunities of digital freight transport information.

The workshops provided a platform for in-depth discussions on eFTI platform architecture, interoperability, and regulatory implications. A key focus was on ensuring that digital solutions align with real-world logistics needs, with participants emphasizing the importance of flexibility and practical use cases. Discussions also addressed digital signatures, AI-driven logistics, and the need to improve digital adoption among drivers before 2027.

By actively engaging in these exchanges, GBK and Abona reaffirmed their commitment to shaping the future of eFTI in Germany and beyond. Their contributions will help drive forward the implementation of seamless, efficient, and secure digital freight transport systems in line with EU regulations.

A third workshop is planned for April 2025, continuing the dialogue on key technical and regulatory aspects of eFTI.
