From 2 to 5 June 2025, the eFTI4ALL project took part in Transport Logistic Munich, one of the most prominent global exhibitions dedicated to logistics, mobility, IT, and supply chain innovation. The event offered a unique platform to exchange ideas on the digitalisation of freight transport and the implementation of the eFTI Regulation.

Throughout the event, members of the eFTI4ALL team joined forces with colleagues from the eFTI4EU project at the Estonian Pavilion (Stand B4 205). This shared exhibition space reflected the close cooperation between the two initiatives and highlighted their joint commitment to advancing digital freight data exchange across Europe.

Over the course of four highly engaging days, a wide array of visitors stopped by the stand to learn more about both projects. A key element of the eFTI4ALL and eFTI4EU presence in Munich was the series of thematic presentations held both at the stand and in the wider conference programme. Among the most impactful moments:

  • “Introducing eFTI – How the EU is Digitalising Freight Transport”, delivered by the European Commission (DG MOVE), which gave attendees a comprehensive overview of the regulation’s background, objectives, and progress to date.

  • “Digital Freight Made Simple – Understanding the eFTI Architecture”, presented by Germany’s Federal Ministry of Transport (BMV), provided an accessible explanation of the system architecture supporting eFTI implementation.

  • A dedicated session at the Port of Gothenburg booth, where the eFTI4ALL pilots were in the spotlight, offering practical examples of ongoing national-level activities and learnings from real-world testing.

  • A joint session by Digilogistika Keskus (DLK) and GBK Trusted Partner GmbH focused on “Digital Freight and Dangerous Goods: How eFTI Makes It Work”, exploring how the regulation applies in the context of sensitive goods and safety-critical transport.

Beyond the formal sessions, the project also hosted a Happy Hour networking event, allowing stakeholders to engage informally, share experiences, and strengthen connections within the freight and logistics community. The positive atmosphere and meaningful conversations reinforced the importance of collaboration and trust in making digital freight a reality.

The eFTI4ALL team extends its heartfelt thanks to the organisers of Transport Logistic Munich and to our hosts at the Estonian Pavilion, including Digilogistika Keskus and Trade with Estonia, for their invaluable support. We also warmly thank our colleagues from DG MOVE, national authorities, and fellow project partners for their insights and contributions to the week’s activities.
